[BUG] Scatter 3d: line not displayed correctly

I added the markers just to show where the line should be but the behaviour persists without the markers.

Thanks for the report. It is related to floating errors.
If one reduces the values on the Y-axis, it works OK: demo.

Hi - we are currently trying to tidy up Plotly's public repositories to help us focus our efforts on things that will help users most. Since this issue has been sitting for several years, I'm going to close it.
